Technical FAQ

NEURALGATE operates across three security tiers: Restricted, Secret, and Top Secret. Each tier implements independent encryption protocols, isolated routing pathways, and dedicated audit logging. Cross-tier data flow is architecturally impossible without multi-party authorization.

We implement lattice-based cryptographic primitives (CRYSTALS-Kyber for key encapsulation, CRYSTALS-Dilithium for signatures) alongside traditional algorithms in a hybrid configuration. This ensures protection against both classical and quantum adversaries while maintaining backward compatibility with existing defense infrastructure.

NEURALGATE provides hardware-agnostic adapter layers for all major BCI platforms including cortical electrode arrays, ECoG grids, and non-invasive EEG systems. Our SDK supports custom hardware integration through a standardized neural signal protocol (NSP) interface.

Air-gapped on-premise deployment is the primary model, running on hardened infrastructure within your existing SCIF environment. We also support hybrid configurations for organizations with IL5/IL6-certified cloud environments. No data ever transits public internet.

We are actively pursuing FedRAMP High authorization, IL5 and IL6 provisional authorization, and CMMC Level 3 certification. Our architecture was designed from day one to meet NIST SP 800-171 and CNSSI 1253 requirements.
